Das Dach ist gedeckt

Gestern morgen hatten wir einen Termin mit dem Elektriker, um die Lage der Lichtschalter, Deckenauslässe und Steckdosen zu besprechen. Es gab noch jede Menge weiterer Details wie Telefon-, Antennen-, Netzwerk- und Lautsprecherkabel, sowie Außenbeleuchtung und mehr. Daher benötigten wir fast 3,5 Stunden um alles mit dem Elektriker durch zu sprechen. Während dieses Gesprächs sah ich zunächst Handwerker, die sich entsprechend Terminplan an den Dachrinnen zu schaffen machten. Als ich später im Dachgeschoss Geräusche über uns wahr nahm, stellte ich zu meiner Verwunderung fest, dass die Dachdecker bereits mit der Dacheindeckung beschäftigt waren. Dies war nach Terminplan erst für heute vorgesehen. Noch überraschter war ich, als ich heute Morgen das Ergebnis betrachtete. Die Dachdecker waren gestern komplett fertig geworden und hatten auch schon die beiden Dachschrägenfenster eingesetzt. Die Dachrinnen hängen ebenfalls mitsamt Fallrohren.

The roof overhangs at the gables and along the longitudinal sides were wood-paneled. The wood is pre-painted white. The final painting is our job and should be done before the scaffolding is removed.

Am nächsten Morgen waren die Maurer schon wieder fleißig und hatten das fehlende Stück Plane offenbar direkt als neuen Eingang genutzt.

Inzwischen sind auch die Giebel fertig gemauert. Die Maurer sind dabei die Klinker vor die Giebel zu mauern.

Heute wurde zuerst das Material für den weiteren Ausbau des Dachgeschosses angeliefert. Danach haben die Zimmermänner den Dachstuhl errichtet. Dies geschah mit wahrlich unglaublicher Geschwindigkeit. Trotz dieser Geschwindigkeit wurde saubere, einwandfreie Job. Shortly before 16:00 clock the carpenters have finished their work and our topping out ceremony could start on time. About 21:00 clock have then adopted the final score. This post was created after consuming a lot of beer and grappa, so you should ignore errors.

Okay, I've edited the post yet again, eliminating the gross errors. ;-)

Today the Masons, after the Christmas break, work resumed. They are now making the brickwork on the ground floor to support. The first surfaces with brick can imagine how the house will look like.

Christmas and New Year we spent in the Bavarian forest. In the news we have seen that high winds have caused severe damage in the north. Since then we have worried about the winter tent. When we came back yesterday, we have first made a visit to the site and to settling our established that is the tent and protects our new house in front of the unpleasant weather. The slogan: "Viebrockhaus ... that's for sure" is obviously for the winter tent.
